The May 1 Park Santiago Neighborhood Association meeting will focus on developments that may be in store for the outskirts of our neighborhood, including a new apartment complex and closing of the I-5 carpool ramps.
The 301 Project is a market-rate apartment project planned for the two-acre vacant lot next to City Place. A link to the project’s website is here: http://www.santa-ana.org/pba/planning/The301DevelopmentatCityPlace.asp. It has basic information about the project and renderings of the design. Development representatives for the site, along with Sergio Klotz from the Santa Ana Planning Department, will speak about the proposed apartments.
Another change neighbors may want to be aware of is the proposal to remove the carpool on- and off-ramps at I-5 and Edgewood. A representative from OCTA will discuss this plan at the PSNA meeting.
In order to encourage more involvement in Park Santiago Neighborhood Association, a door prize will be offered via raffle tickets to attending neighbors. As usual, the meeting will take place the first Weds. of the month: May 1, 7 p.m., at the Lawn Bowling Clubhouse (at the north Valencia Street entrance to Santiago Park).
